President Trump was in the Philippines Monday after visiting China, South Korea, Vietnam, and Japan.
Not surprisingly, the mainstream media tried to find something that went wrong with his trip and only reported the bad, like supposedly over-feeding the fish in the koi pond and allegedly being “played” by President Putin on the economic summit, and as always Trump’s tweets.
But the truth is Trump trip was a great success, as he was honored by every leader of its country and delivered powerful speeches in which he presented his vision for U.S.-Indo-pacific relationship goals.
Luckily the people are not so oblivious like the mainstream media would like them to be. According to Rasmussen Daily Presidential Tracking Poll, President Trump’s rating has gone up during his trip overseas.
46% of the voters believe President Trump is doing a good job so far, and 53% disapprove of him.
Looking closely, 30% “strongly approve” of Trump and 40% “strongly disapprove.” and five days ago the “strongly approve” was only 26% and the “strongly disapprove” was 49%, meaning President Trump is heading towards the right direction.
According to the Real Clear Politics poll, President Trump has 38.8 percent of approval and 56 percent disapproval.
But in this poll is the same case, before November 8 the approval rating was 38.2% and the disapproval 56.8 %.
Aside from the fact that every country welcomed the President with great respect and honor, another reason that increased Trump’s approval rating is the plethora of business deals he helped forge and finalize along the way.
During the 12-days trip, President Trump talked about his stance on the trade between the countries, focusing on a reciprocal and fair trade. And at least 37 major business deals were made between U.S. and China.
“American businesses are the most innovative in the world and, when given access, can compete with anyone,” said Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross, who was accompanying Trump the whole trip. “I believe these deals can provide a solid foundation for a stronger relationship that is more free, fair, and reciprocal between the U.S. and China.”
These business deal undoubtfully will flood billions of dollars into the U.S. economy and will help create new jobs for American workers over the years.
