Here’s How Much Cash Has Been Raised for the Woman Who was Fired for Flipping Off Trump

A GoFundMe campaign for Juli Briskman, the cyclist who lost her job after she flipped off President Donald Trump’s motorcade, has raised over $70,000.

The GoFundMe page says “Juli Briskman is an inspiration to us all. This week we learned that she was fired from her employer for exercising her first amendment rights.”

Over 3,000 people have donated, and a goal of $100,000 has been set.

The two largest donors are an anonymous donor and Rosie O’Donnell, who gave $1,500 and $1,000 respectively.

Briskman has spoken out since the incident, saying on MSNBC last week that she didn’t have any other way to express he disappointment in the Trump administration.

“It was a spur-of-the-moment decision,” Briskman said. “Lots of things were going through my mind about how disappointed I am with this administration. I didn’t really have any other way to express my opinion to Mr. Trump, and so the finger was what I had at the time.”

Briskman also said she wouldn’t want to go back to her old job because she learned the company doesn’t share her “values.”
